Dr. Johnathan Slate dedicates 60 to 90 minutes to diagnostic appointments, ensuring that we don’t just treat symptoms—we engineer long-term oral health. Whether you need a complex full-mouth reconstruction or immediate emergency relief, our philosophy is simple: Do the harder right, rather than the easier wrong.

We have some genuinely excellent specialists in this community — clinicians who perform a single procedure day in and day out, at a level no general dentist doing it occasionally can match. When your case belongs in their hands, we have no business doing it in ours. Sending you to someone better suited to the work is not a limitation of this practice. It is the same principle everything else here runs on: the harder right over the easier wrong, entirely for the sake of your outcome.
Slate Dental is an adult general practice. We refer out surgical implant placement, periodontal surgery, complex oral surgery, root canal therapy, and orthodontics — then handle the restorative work that follows, so the plan stays coordinated rather than fragmented across offices. We do not treat children, and we are glad to point families toward a pediatric dentist nearby.
We do not provide Invisalign or orthodontic aligner treatment. We do fabricate clear aligner-style retainers to hold teeth in position once orthodontic treatment is complete.
